2017年8月9日(水)から8月10日(木)に山形蔵王にてカーボンナノチューブ、グラフェンおよび関連二次元材料、ナノカーボンに関する小さな研究会を開催しま す。この研究会は、(公財)新世代研究所ナノカーボン研究会が開催するものです。(新学術領域研究「原子層科学」共催)


We have a small scientific meeting concerning Carbon nanotubes, Graphene, and related 2D materials at Zao, Yamagata, from 12:00, Aug. 9 to 15:00, Aug. 10, 2017. This meeting has been organized by Nano-carbon society, Foundation Advanced Technology Institute (ATI). This meeting is also co-organized by Science of Atomic Layers (SATL), Scientific Research on Innovative Areas, MEXT. The object of this meeting is that many researchers in this research area discuss freely and deepen cross-sectional understanding. We ask all speakers to give easy lecture for beginners. Students and researchers from foreign countries are welcome. All presentations are oral and given in English.
Last year, we had about 30 participants and enjoyed valuable time. This year, Prof. Saito will help us again to have this meeting. Due to the capacity of the hotel, participants should be less than 30. If you want to join us, please send me your title of talk and abstract not later than June 30, 2017. Earlier is better. If the number of participants becomes 30, application will be closed.

For foreign students and reseachers, we will have Zao-meeting for nano-carbon materials in Zao-Onsen area from Aug. 9 to Aug. 10. You can present your research in English. If you wish to attend this meeting, please ask your supervisor for supporting the travel expense. You can come with your family within a capacity of the hotel.
